II.​ Introduction on rhythm 1、Definition of rhythm 2、learning rhythm in details (1)节奏群 e.g. I was at `home `yesterday. 这个句子包含两个节奏群,第一个节奏群的核心是‘home’,第二个节奏群的中心是‘yes-’。‘I was at’应说的尽量快,‘home’要慢一些。 (2)节奏群的划分 同一个词的重读音节和非重读音节都属于同一个节奏群。 e.g. we’re `going there to`morrow. 同一个句子由于说话者的态度不同可以有不同的句重音,也就是说同一个句子也可以由不同的节奏群。 e.g. I `wonder if she’ll `ask me in ad`vance. `I wonder if she’ll `ask me in ad`vance. (强调我想知道) I` wonder if she’ll `ask me in ad`vance.(强调我想知道) (3)语句节奏 Ⅲ Listening, reading and imitating ⑴ Listen to the tape and read after it, pay attention to the rhythm patterns. ⑵ Practise the dialogues with your partner, and show your performance with proper intonation and emotion in class. Ask other students to make comments on their performance and give some suggestions to them. ⑶ Listen to the record of the passage on page 155, lucky break, and mark the rhythm patterns . Practise by yourself. Then, ask some students to imitate the passage, and help them correct wrong points. Ⅳ Assignment From page 156 to page 157, listen and practise after class. Record your speech at the same time, and choose the best one to send to the teacher’s e-mail box.
