As I have seen this movie for three times，there‘re still a lot of feelings drop deeply in my heart for every time。Nothing gonne change my shock about the hero .Andy,a real strong man ,this not only for his amazing action and success ,but also the saying “A strong man can save himself, a great man can save another”. In my opinion ,all the movie about ,is “the hope” .I have to say that is really a movie for mature audiences . This is a “feel good when its done, but feel trashed getting there” film. The surprise ending supports “justice”, but the worst character in the film is depicted as a “Bible thumping” sadist, supporting a big lie that “Bible quoters” are either a.) sadistic b.) trying to hide their own evil c.) fakes or d.) all of the above. Sadly this lie oft repeated becomes “common wisdom,” and our society repeatedly exposed to this unfair kind of anti-Bible bias, comes to accept it as a truism. So while the “good” guys win, and the “bad” Bible thumper looses, a Christian feels tarnished after watching this film. Prison scenes showing lust, cruelty, and raw violence make it “off the list” for any but tough adult viewing. The story is almost like this: In 1946, the banker andy was accused to kill his wife and her lover, this means that he is going to prison for shawshank .Then,the banker's soon became a big-time operator. he knows how to help the jailer for tax evasion, and help the warden make the illegal money income "white",so he soon became the his personal assistant. But the situation has changed after a thief to prison for theft, he knew his wife and her lover's death’s truth, andy got highly,he hope the warden can help him.But the warden received in surface to andy, secretly make the guard killed the thief, just because he wanted andy keep in prison for him to do the bills. When andy knew the truth, he decided get freedom by his own salvation. For the first time,I think the meaning of Redemption is search for the freedom.I just remember that when I saw Andy was sentenced to life in prison, he quietly into the deep expression did make me for the shock. In my expression is the calm eyes under his hidden impressive wisdom .It’s easy to see that the shawshank is a hell for every person be here and named “criminal” .Here ,there ‘s no freedom ,no self-respect ,they are all convicted felons so that sent to there as the warden thought .In the warden’ opinion ,there is only two things :the discipline and bible .Put the trust into the lord.But as I think ,there only one point ,which the warden said :you ass belongs to me .Maybe the warden and his stuff are the law in the shawshank .It was cold ,dirty ,not just the place ,but the people .Firstly ,they march the criminal in naked as the day you were born and skin burning and half-blind from that delousing shit .Old life blown away in the blink of an eye .Nothing left but all the time in the world to think about it,No deny freedom, the Andy offered by slick salespeople procurator-general of the life to shawshank .The banker won't do as it arranged, but with fate, not just on the first night some person was beaten to death. Andy is doomed to against the violence and system, he brings hope .It also makes him a hero. Though it just a short time of freedom ,can make the criminals feel such a lot happiness .We can suppose that everyone there want to freedom ,but also afraid about it .A strong man can save himself, a great man can save another. I just know Andy's intention. Repairing the roof, for his people for beer, in fact is for everyone to get their roofs in repairing as general free feeling, so he doesn't drink, with a huge smile of happiness, Put the marriage of figaro, is to awaken them has quickly lose the sense of freedom. But it always that the world is lack of strong man ,most people in the shawshank choice left here .As Brooks ,he would rather hurt the friends to stay in the shawshank .Although smart as Morgan , he also want to go the same way of Brooks .Does it strange ?Maybe not .Freedom ,equal , love ,the beautiful things people pursue for ,but in the criminals’ eyes ,they have adapt to the rule in the shawshank ,and like Brooks said “The world went and got itself a big damn hurry .”they went away the society for so long .Brooks work hard and try a lot ,but still has trouble sleeping at night ,wake up scared ,sometimes it take him a while to remember where he is .so maybe get away the world is the only way for him to freedom .Everytime ,I cry for his death ,when Morgan saw the word “Brooks was here “ ,I always can’t help my self crying ,Brooks is a nice person ,and he just no way to choice. And Andy? He is conscious ,from the small hammer, he began to save the path. And this is his final self-salvation get real freedom. When Brooks has been in prison for 50 years after finally free, but he committed suicide. Morgan has been granted to the toilet, but his first boss requests, otherwise it will not come. On the surface ,the movie has show an important theme in America seems dark, innocent but judicial be condemned, dirty and dark prison, like hell. The warden that "I believe two things, a GuanXun, one for the bible, you two are here, you little faith to god, to us" is really impressive. I want to film revolves around "salvation from the sacred and an unpredictable.
