Natually there’s prejudice, discrimination and homophobia in schools. In order to change the pervasive animus towards gay and lesbian.We apply collaborative action research and developed a curriculum of gay and lesbian education. This research was conducted by the school teacher, researcher and gender study schalors. At first, the teacher realized how students perceive homosexual by counseling with some lesbian students, then she designed the curriculum with researcher and gender study schalors. In the class, the teacher taught and the researcher observed. After the class, we also make some interviews and questionnaires to students to evaluate the result. Our main purpose is promote the friendly, accepting atmosphere to gay and lesbian students, and provide a positive response to diversities among students. It's also a good example to show how gender study theory can be practiced in class and how this kind of courses can empower both students and teachers.
