This device uses Flash Memory as storage media and connects to a computer through USB interface. USB FLASH DISK can be re-used for more than 100,000 times and can retain data for up to 10 years. The USB FLASH DISK is small, shock-resistance, bus power supply, and the transfer rate is 15 times faster than a floppy drive. The capacity of the USB FLASH DISK can be expanded to 2GB. How to use the USB FLASH DISK USB FLASH DISK is easy to use, the instructions on how to use USB FLASH DISK with Windows 2000 and above are shown below: 3. 1) Turn on your computer. 3. 2) Plug the USB FLASH DISK into the USB port of the computer. The USB FLASH DISK symbol should appear under the”My Computer”file. Under Windows system, an icon will appear in the taskbar. 3. 3) The indicator on the USB FLASH DISK will flash while the write or read is processing. 3. 4) To remove the USB FLASH DISK from the computer, please follow the steps below: Click the icon in the taskbar. A "Stop USB Mass Storage Device - device " window should appear. The system then prompts a new window that reads "USB Mass Storage Device can be removed safely" Click "OK" to close this window and then remove the USB FLASH DISK. 4. System Requirements  IBM compatible PC or notebook with USB interface  Windows 2000 and above  USB2.0 port is necessary to achieve high speed transfer 5. Warning  Please wait for LED to blink slowly then pull out the USB Flash Disk.  If no removable disk symbol appears, after completing the driver installation, please click “Control panel”-> “system”-> “Device manager” then choose USB Flash Disk and click the right button,choose “properties”-> “setting” then check “Removable” option and restart the computer.  Please do not pull the USB Flash Disk out while accessing the files of USB Flash Disk (such as word documents …etc.). Pease close the running program and files then pull the USB Flash Disk out. 爱国者存储科技 =21= 6. FAQs 1. After the installation is complete, why can’t I find the USB device correctly? Answer: Check USB Controller option in BIOS, make sure it is “Enable”. 2. What is the purpose of the indicator? Answer: The blinking LED indicates that the USB Flash Disk is in use . 3. Can I pull out the USB FLASH DISK from the computer when the LED is blinking fast? Answer: No you can’t. That can lead to losing data or blue screen. There is no harm to the hardware, but that may cause data loss 4. Can I use ScanDisk to scan the USB FLASH DISK? Answer: Yes, you can. 5. Is USB FLASH DISK shared in the local network? Answer：Yes. 6. Why the available capacity smaller than the announced capacity? Answer: Because the file management system and system files require some capacity, thus the available capacity is smaller than the announced capacity 7.Why can’t I see my auto-lanuch content? Answer: please check to make sure that you have logged in as the correct administrator! If not,please re-login as administrator again.
