Get the Job You Want Letters of Application Letters of ApplicationPurpose 1: to get the employer to read your résumé and invite you for an interview.
Purpose 2: to respond to job advertisements and vacancy announcements.
Approach 1: to show that your qualifications fit the employer’s requirements for the position.
Approach 2: analyze the position description carefully and pick out key phrases. nullApproach 3: try to match your letter point by point to the requirements by emphasizing key parts of your résumé.
The principal parts are:

Signature linenullIn addition to the basic components, there are several other elements that may be added to the letter depending upon its content:
A subject line, announcing the purpose of the letter, precedes (在…之前) the salutation.
Any material enclosed with the letter is indicated by typing “Enclosure(s),” followed by the number of such enclosures in parentheses.

In the opening paragraph of the letter, you should clarify which specific job you want and how you learned about the job vacancy.
