英语自学指导书 ? 《英语》自学指导书 一、 概述 1、 学习本课程的目的和任务 本课程是大学公共基础课,为所有专业学生必修课。根据教育部颁布的教学要求以及相关规定,学习本课程的目的任务是:使学生较好地掌握英语基础知识和技能,具有一定的听、说、读、写、译的能力,能够借助词典阅读和翻译有关英语业务,在涉外交际的日常活动和业务活动中进行简单的口头和书面交流,并为今后继续提高英语交际和应用能力打下基础。 2、 本课程的基本要求 依据高职高专教育英语课程教与学的基本要求,我们坚持学用结合、学用一致的原则,要求学生在第一册教材800词汇起点的基础之上,复习巩固语音、语法、词汇知识,扩展简单句、并列句和基本复合句句法,注重听、说、读、写、译基本技能的训练,在交际、办公、求学、求职、购物、游览、查询信息等方面词汇量最低达到2000,把日常交流和公务商务语言基本功训练与的实际应用、涉外活动结合起来,能够听懂和口头、书面表达上述相关话题内容,从过去的以阅读能力为主向综合应用能力为主转变。 3、 本课程的学习方法 由于教材具有典型性、思想性、趣味性和可模拟性,所选用的语言材料和情境符合实际交际与应用的需要,所以要求同学们: (1) 认真阅读自学指导书,了解英语课程学习目的、任务、要求和学习方法; (2) 反复朗读课文,听读录音和参看配套光盘,力求吃透教材、强化记忆, 从模拟套用套写入手,练习扩展和举一反三。 (3) 课文、课后练习和习题集的编写由浅入深,体现了分级学习思想,基础 部分是听说写的训练,阅读以实用阅读即应用文体为主,同学们可根据 个人实际情况不断加大练习量,循序渐进,逐渐适应各种题型和解决综 合的复杂问题。 (4) 要完成指导书规定的练习,按照各部分考核标准对每一单元、每一专题 的学习情况进行自查自评。 (5) 在学习和完成作业过程中遇到的问题,可通过网络、电话、信函等形式 与教师取得联系,获得辅导和答疑帮助。(035-24441) 4、 选用教材及参考书 本课程选用教材为教育部成人高等教育教材编写组编写的、高等教育出版社98年版《英语》1-2册。第一册为过渡教学,泛读泛讲,第二册采用精读精讲,两册书的基础练习和重点题型全部讲解。推荐参考书目:同一出版社的配套《英语学习辅导》1-2册,《英语教师参考书》1-2册。 1 二、学习要点、基本要求及考核标准 ? 《英语》自学指导书 Unit 1 Greeting People You Meet for the First Time 第1单元 与初次见面的人打招呼 1.本单元学习内容 , 问候和简单自我介绍时常用的单词和主系表结构陈述句型: ,Vocabulary: applause canteen employee honor author guest chief , overseas joint Phrase: guest house、chief engineer、joint venture、have one?s lunch、 have the honor、have the honor to do something 2. 本单元学习要点: 2.1 词句要点: Dialogue A : How Do You Do? 你好吗, Li Hong is a receptionist.
