By the end of this lesson, hopefully the pupils will be able to: 1. understand and say the words: apple, orange, orange juice 2. say the chant with actions
Material Needed: Kingsun, pictures
Procedures:
Step 1: Let’s Sing: I like… (After the song, the teacher will help children to review the words:
noodles, tea, cookie)
Step 2: Learn the new words in the chant: apple, orange, orange juice
(The teacher will make some activities to help students to learn the new words, such as:
read the word train by train, look and speak: I like… and so on)
Step 3: Games (Practice the new words)
大小声(help students to consolidate their pronunciation of the new words)
Missing Game(to help students to remember the new words)
(Let the children have a rest.)
Step 4: Let’s Sing: Rainbow(review the colors)
Step 5: Learn the chant
(1) Review the colors: What color can you see in our classroom?
(2) Let’s Chant: I like pink. I like blue. I like black. It’s cool.
(3) Let’s learn another chant: Apple red, apple green, apple pie for the apple queen
Orange yellow, orange green, orange juice for the orange queen
(4) Read the chant sentence by sentence with the action
(5) Read the chant together with actions
(6) Practice the chant in groups(four children in a group)
