The reasons are so complicated that we can tell, but we all know that the differences indeed exist and can not be wiped out. Thousand years ago, war is the way to fight again or destroy the different culture, which is the rude and useless method. We can get evidence from the history, such as Trojan War, Nazi persecution of the Jews and Opium War. War can only bring pain and suffering, rather than peace and recognition. Nowadays, most of us have a consensus that only we understand and respect other culture can we live in harmony and create a better for next generation. So the first step is to understand other culture, and the next step is to receive that. In the world, there is a customer to divide the world into west part and east part. In the past, European culture was on behalf of western culture and Chinese culture was the typical Eastern culture. However, at present, American culture, as a representative of Western culture, is existing in the world culture system with Chinese culture. It means Chinese culture has a long history and innovation, otherwise it won’t last for such a long long time along with countless Regime changes, ruinous Opium War and thrilling Culture Revolution. In terms of American culture, it does not have a long history but it has the most innovative and powerful culture. Its culture is changing people’s lifestyle and belief worldwide. How can this young culture has such a big power to influence the countries who SWIBS have a far more mature culture and stable customer? This phenomenon is really interesting and has a great research value. The following is some kind of apparent difference between these two cultural giant. (1) US stays on rules. China stays on culture. The United States is the earliest civilizations began to practice all the results into specific provisions in national character, which now has the most comprehensive legal system, policies systems and other public programs. Individual freedoms enjoyed in the rule above, or the rules embodied in personal freedom compromise. When the rule becomes the provisions of the future, everything can be turned into order, if rules consist with the needs of social production and life, it naturally results in higher operational efficiency. That is why and how the American society is very dependent on good documented requirements. According to a survey of western botanists, Chinese food has more than 600 kinds of vegetables, which is six times more than it in the west. In fact, in Chinese dishes, the vegetables is a kind of daily food, and meat dishes only on festivals and holidays or with higher living of some people, but in American they always canned food, fast food and so on. Last but not least, we will talk about the different ways of eating. There is a large difference in the ways of eating, which has an impact on the national character. In China, a banquet, no matter what purpose, there will be only one form, which is everyone sitting in a circle, sharing one table. And this kind of banquet should use round table, which can create an atmosphere of unite, courtesy and fun. Culture in a society is irreplaceable.
