(I)Vocabulary
1.contact: ?communication with someone, especially by speaking or writing to them regularly
e.g. There isn't enough contact between teachers and parents. The school likes to have a contact number (= telephone number, esp. for emergencies) for parents during school hours.

2. transfer: to move someone or something from one place, vehicle, person or group to another
e.g. We were transferred from one bus into another.
3. security: plural noun SPECIALIZED
investment in a company or in government debt which can be traded on the financial markets and which produces an income for the investor 4. check: ?to make certain that something or someone is correct, safe or
suitable by examining it or them quickly
e.g. The doctor will call next week to check on your progress. ?an examination of something in order to make certain that it is correct or the way it should be

6. conscience: the part of you that judges the morality of your own actions and makes you feel guilty about bad things that you have done or things you feel responsible for

7. convince: to persuade someone or make them certain
e.g. He managed to convince the jury of his innocence.
8. injection: when someone puts a liquid, especially a drug, into a person's body using a needle and a syringe (= small tube)

9. rattle: a sound similar to a series of quickly repeated knocks e.g. From across the town came the rattle of machine-gun fire. 10. porcelain: a hard but delicate shiny white substance made by heating a special type of clay to a high temperature, used to make cups, plates, decorations, etc 瓷器
11. transistor: a small electrical device containing a semiconductor, used in televisions, radios, etc. to control or increase an electric current 晶体管
12. carcinoma: a diseased growth which forms on or inside the body; a tumor 癌
(III) Training Focus
1. Ask the students to get the needed information;
