长塘里 Teaching contents: Today I’m going to talk about Part A of Unit 2 in Primary English Book. Teaching Aims: 1. Aims on the knowledge. To enable the Ss to understand and speak the sentence structure: Do you want…? 2. Aims on the abilities. To develop the Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking. To train the Ss’ abilities of communication and cooperation. 3. Aims on the emotions. To foster Ss’ consciousness of good cooperation and good manners. Key Point: To help Ss to ask the question “Do you want…” Difficult Point: To help Ss to ask the question in proper situation. Teaching Methods: I’ll use those teaching methods : Total Physical Response, Situational Approach,Task based teaching methods,Competition and games. Teaching Procedure: Step 1 Warm-up and preview. 1. Sing the song “ If you are happy.” 2. Free talk. 3. A guessing game. Step 2 Presentation. 1. Make a situation and let Ss understand the dialogue. 2. Learn to say the sentence and practise. 3. Talk with cartoon stars. 4. Play a guessing game. Step 3 Practise. 1. Listen ,watch and imitate. 2. Practise in groups. 3. Make a dialogue and act out. Step 4 Consolidation. 1. Choose present at store. 2. Finish the survey. Step 5 Conclusion. 1. Check the survey. 2. What time we should get to Lingling’s home. 3. Sing the song “Please, thank you.” 4.
