Journalists, who are the part and partial in it, need to possess some good qualities in order to achieve the primary goal of journalism. Basically these qualities are threefold. First and foremost, the journalists should tell the truth and be loyal to the citizens. More often than not, people are so hungry for news that some of them have become journalism-oriented. Due to that, journalists are obliged to cover the news precisely and comprehensively. Also, bear in mind that the discipline of verification should be taken into consideration. Secondly, to be a good journalist, they need to maintain independence from those being covered. Confusing as it may sound, they still have to keep an objective perspective and be outside people when writing the news. Last but not the least, a profound grasp of literacy is essential for a good journalist. Needless to say, having a good command of reading and writing can enable journalists to develop a newsworthy report within several minutes. Moreover, nothing can be more simple but significant than words spelling and grammar. In sum, if any journalist can cater for those requirements mentioned above, he or she will give us the very reason to believe. If not, it is better for us to think twice before we make use of the news report as evidence.
