Colleges and universities should offer students a better job preparation before they start working
With the population grows, young people are facing increasingly pressure of employment, especially these graduating university students who first enter the work place. So I definitely agree that students should be offered a better job preparation before they start working, and I will offer the following arguments to support my case.
First, I believe that offering students a better job preparation can really benefit students. As you know, with school being the last stop before they enter society, students urgently need help from school to prepare them better for the work market. For example, if a student wants to be a teacher after graduation, then having some experience in teaching is really important for him or her to have. With the job preparation that university offers, he or she would easily get access to the teaching job.
And second, I think it is also beneficial for the colleges and universities. If a school’s graduates can find an ideal job, then this would boost the school’s reputation among its potential applicants, and can thus attract better students. For instance, many of my friends go to Beijing University because the school’s diploma can be accepted by many big companies, and it sure does. Almost all of them have got ideal jobs with high salaries after graduating from Beijing University.
Moreover, offering a better job preparation can do good to the society. It can help students to make better transition from school to work place, and thus provide more qualified workers with both needed skills and mental readiness. If the workers can do better, that means the productivity of the whole society can be improved.
From the above analysis, we can easily draw a conclusion that colleges and universities should offer students a better job preparation before they start working. This can be really beneficial to many aspects of our living world.
