关于产品中不使用有害化学物质的保证 Letter of Guarantee for Restriction on Hazardous Substances in Products 本公司 (包括本公司的子公司，其它各有关公司) 就本公司直接或通过第三方向海尔集团所属各公司（以下称“海尔“）提供的全部产品(包括但不限于产品本身、附件、包装材料、跟其它产品同时交货的材料)中符合欧盟RoHS指令的规定作出如下保证： This company (including its branches and any other related companies) hereby guarantees that all the products (including but not limit to the product, accessories, packing materials and other materials relating to the delivery of the said products) provided either directly or indirectly through a third party to Haier’s member companies (hereinafter referred to as Haier) conform to the The RoHS Directive. 本公司明确知悉：欧盟的RoHS指令规定禁止对环境和人类有害的化学物质为： This company understands that the following substances are harmful to the environment and human beings and any use of these substances is banned by The RoHS Directive: 1) 铅及其化合物 Pb and its compounds 2) 镉及其化合物 Cd and its compounds  3) 汞及其化合物 Hg and its compounds 4) 六价铬化合物 Cr6+ compounds      5) 溴系阻燃剂：多溴联苯（PBB）和多溴二苯醚（PBDE） PBB and PBDE 注：(1) 即使是没有明文的规定，如果各国或地区的法令规定禁止使用或限制使用某些有害物质时，本公司也将遵守这些法令。 Note: (1) Even if no proclaimed in writing, if some nation or region specify some hazardous substances in the laws or regulations for restriction on these hazardous substances, the company will still abide by the regulations and use no such hazardous substances in products. (2) 本公司保证，从即日起，按照上述标准改善本公司所供产品，并承诺2006年1月1日后，在海尔提出时, 供应给海尔的所有产品中上述六种有害物质的含量有能力保证完全符合海尔标准(标准限值见附)。如果违反了这一标准，由此所造成的一切后果由本公司承担（包括但不限海尔因此遭受的罚金、处理事故的花费以及因此受到的损失）。此外，本公司明确表示海尔有权根据本公司所供应的原材料和零部件的环保性能进行调整配额，并有权选择其他更符合标准的供应商。 This company guarantees that from now on, the company will take measures to improve the product quality according to the above mentioned criteria and, if Haier requests after January 1, 2006, content of the said 6 hazardous substances in any product to be provided to Haier will comply with The RoHS Directive latest regulations on the maximum residual limits of the hazardous substances in products (the latest residual limits listed in the table below). Should the company violate this regulation, the company will bear all the responsibilities thereof (including but not limit to the penalty and the expenses Haier has to pay as a result of the company’s fault to settle the incident).
