This provides another method for accessing hot keys. In order to use the mnemonic keys, press ALT, the underlined character on the main menu, and the character for the command you want to run. For example: ALT + F + 1 opens the last file read ALT + E + A opens the Layer Manager dialog box ALT + V + F fills the viewport with data (this is also available using the hot keys CTRL + F)
