Explanation and Analysis. 学 法 指 导 Inspiration Discussion 教 学 准 备 Textbook Other related materials 作 业 Make a conversation about entering the college with your classmates using the expressions we have learned in this class. 教学过程 旁注 Step 1: Lead in Show students some pictures about the new semester and students’ entering of college. Ask them two questions: What were needed for your registration? What’s your feeling of being a freshman? Ss: My registration for the college needed ID card, letter of admission… Ss: I feel being a freshman is so cool because… T: Ok,today we are going to learn more about entering the college and registration… Step 2: New words: Play the PPT and teach the new words. First ask them to read these words after the teacher and correct their pronunciation. Then explain the usage of these words in detail, and make sentences with these words, showing some picture to help them remember the meaning of them. Dialogue one: Allow students three minutes to look over the dialogue and pose their questions and answering these questions. Play the Mp3 material twice for them to listen. If they fail to pronounce well, lead them to read the dialogue. Translate the dialogue into Chinese for better understanding, and explain some new words and expressions. Then explain dialogue two and three like dialogue one. Step 3: Summary and supplementation Summarize the useful expressions in these dialogues and supplement some relevant phrases and words for further use. Step 4: Conversation making Divide the students in groups of three. Ask them to make their own conversation using the expressions we have summarized in last step. Ask some volunteers to share their conversation.
