The movie told a story that Juli fell in love with Bryce at first sight and flipped, but they mutually shut out. The movie expressed the director to think of the growth of human and love view. The purpose of the thesis is that analyzes of love view of Juli , which was braveness and perseverance , and love view of Bryce that was timorousness and braveness and the reasons that their love view formed. So then reader can have deeper understanding of first love and some enlightenment that how to treat love . She was born in 1965. She was a scenarist and children's author. She was born in a poor family, and her parents were fanatical literary enthusiasts. As a child, she did not have snacks and toys. This established foundation for writing novel. Her representative works were Sammy Keyes series and Shredderman Rules .Sammy Keyes is a series of mystery novels written by Wendelin Van Draanen for children aged 9–15. The series focuses on Sammy's adventures as an amateur sleuth. The books, which are narrated in the first-person perspective by Sammy, involve detective fiction as well as comedy. Sammy begins her adventures in the first book as a seventh-grader, and the series will end when she completes the twelfth grade. Eighteen books are planned for the series. Sammy Keyes and the Hotel Thief won the 1998 Edgar Award for Best Children's Mystery. Flipped was directed by Rob.Reiner. He was born in 1947. And he was a director, actor and scenarist. He had the name of business director. He became famous for This Is Spinal Tap. His representative work A Few Good Men was nominated as Academy Award for Best Picture. Rob.Reiner expressed to life by The Bucket List in 2007. After three years, he expressed to growth and love by Flipped. Callan McAuliffe(Bryce)and Madeline Carroll(Juli) were the main performers. The movie told a story about first love of young boy and girl by double scenes. Bryce was born in a rich family but Juli was poor . Bryce’s family removed to nearby Juli’s house . Juli was flipped when she met Bryce at first time. And she chased him fervently, but Bryce treated frigidly because he was influenced by Bryce’s father. Juli kept chickens in the back yard after a science competition and sent some eggs to Bryce. Bryce threw away eggs as rubbishes because his father despised Juli’s yard. Juli liked to stay on the sycamore to see scenery and invited to Bryce together, but Bryce refused her. After eggs trouble ,sycamore thing , Bryce began to fall in love with Juli. After basket boy auction, Bryce expressed his love to Juli. At the end of the movie, they fell in love . The purpose and significance of study is that analyzes of love view of Juli and Bryce and analyzes the reasons why their love view formed. There are four chapters in this thesis. Chapter one gives a general introduction; chapter two is the literature review which studies of love view and Flipped, and comments on the movie of Flipped. Studies of Flipped is from translation perspective, values perspective and symbolic significance. Chapter three analyzes  of love view of Juli and Bryce and analyzes the reasons why their love view came into being. Chapter four is the conclusion. Chapter Two Literature Review Love is the eternal theme of humanity. Everyone has the right to pursue love and happiness. In this chapter, the paper aims to show a brief introduction to the definition of love view and researches of love view and Flipped. According to the papers ,researches on love view in the Flipped are limited. 2.1 Related studies of love view So far, there is no specific definition of love view. Author just found some simple studies. Love view is reflection of the outlook on life. Love view in different times is different contents because it was influenced by economic condition, social system and culture. With the development of society, the love view also changed. Characteristics of modern love are based on the common ideal and goal of both men and women. Characteristics of modern love are loyalty , commentary and strong persistence . Researches on love view abroad explore the essence of love as the cutting point, studying from the type of love, love being the foundation of marriage, predestined relationship, romantic attitude, love expression etc. Among them, it is focal point to study from the type of love. Scholars think that love is a romantic relationship in people's attitude towards love and is a reflection of people love views. Freud studied of love since the 1930 s. Scholars have been devoted themselves to explore the essence of love from different points. Love is a complex phenomena that is affected by social factors psychological and subjective feeling. Therefore, Fehr and Russell believed that the concept of love was too complex to be defined.(Fehr, 1991) Knox and Sporakowski think that the romantic love and realistic love are the two basic attitudes of love. Romantic love happens once in a life time. Romantic love is love at first sight and the sole criterion of marriage. Realism love is the opposite of romantic love and calm, reliable and that can give more comfort love.(D.H. Knox, 1968) Hatfield and Walste think that love is divided into companion-ate love and passionate love. After a series of studies are considered is one of the most basic classification. (Hatfield, 1978) Lee put love was divided into main mode and the secondary mode. Main mode includes: eros, ludus, storge. The secondary mode includes: pragama, mania, agape. The secondary mode was made by the main mode of three types of love two combination, that is storge and ludus form of pragama；eros and ludus form of mania；eros and storge form of agape.(J. A. Lee, 1973) Sternberg put triangular theory of love. He thinks that love consists of intimacy, passion and commitment three components.(R. J. Sternberg, 1986)The different combination of three elements formed eight different love, like（only intimacy）, obsessive love（only passion）, empty love(only commitment ), romantic love(intimacy and passion ), friendship love（intimacy and commitment ）, fatuous love(passion and commitment ,as love at first sight), consummate love(intimacy and passion and commitment, loveless(without three elements). Love view means the people’s fundamental views and attitudes to love and marriage problems, and it`s impotent parts of outlook on life. Its major contents including: what is love, the essence of love, love positions in society life and personal life, standards of choosing spouse, how to treat lovelorn etc. (Luo, 2009) Researches on love view at home was reflected by literary works. However, less  researches refer to childish love. Liu Ping put the love view under the feminine principle sight. The actual status which women are humiliated and damaged and the brutal struggle when love did not exist. The obey and elimination to men power words, mature feminine awakening. The women are in born-weak status in novel and marriage, and the earnest hope to feminine awakens harbors. Chi Li believes because of the quenching of long feudal patriarchy culture, women forged a firmer and more pliable quality. Non-feminine principle about love view includes, the approval material practical value specifically; the resolution spirit pursue; the common custom life and the romantic love opposition; the difficulty choice between the reason and the emotion; the independent and the open -type about marriage. ChiLi removed the unreal color of the love step by step, forced love to go down the god world, go out of the poetry atmosphere, return to the ordinary survival condition, but not a mysterious emotion which was unattainable in the upper air. In today`s literature multiplication ,love and marriage`s writing is main literature existence way.(Liu, 2008) 2.2 Comments on the movie Flipped It was too numerous to count about comments on the movie Flipped, but author thinks significant comments as follows: Zhou（2014）commented that the movie took the route of warmth. When people watched the movie just as turning an old and yellow photo album. Because the rhythm of movie was clear and bright, and the movie showed American country environment in 1960 years. The movie showed the complex first love in same scene and different points of views. Director made audiences relive an old dream that was first love. The movie told us that on one hand, we kept mundane attitude, on other hand, we lost the warmth of human. The plot of movie looked like briefness. In actually, the language of movie had a lingering potency. Flipped not kept a first love but showed humanistic concern. If you met Mr. Right, you should cherish him.(Zhou, 2014) Fu （2014）said that the movie was a type of family, and gave people enlightenment from first love, family life and attitude towards life. The heroin Juli was a mature, forthright and sincere, confident, optimistic and fearless girl. On the contrary, Bryce was a absent-minded and not independent boy. Chet was a moral beacon for a absent-minded Bryce on the love way. On the other hand, the whole movie played twelve pieces of music in all, beginning with Pretty Little Angle Eyes ,ending with Let It Be Me. They gave audiences sorrowful and romantic feeling. The movie made people think of growth and knew that who they were.(Fu, 2014) Chen (2015) commented in beauty of humanity of American culture that Flipped touched many people. It was popular because audiences connected in mind growing experience and first love watching the movie. At the same time, the movie showed American female in American culture. American women were crucial and brave. It was a teaching material that knew American human beauty. First love in movie was the beginning of human beauty, and they were not like pursuit of utility in the social convention. And the boy and girl were not so realistic.(Chen, 2015） 2.3 Related studies of Flipped Up to now, there is no research on Flipped abroad. Researches on Flipped home analyzes from language translation perspective, values perspective, symbolic significance ,etc. 2.3.1 Studies of Flipped from translation perspective Huang YuShun analyzed the Chinese version of Flipped with the characteristics of children`s literature basing on the three basic rules of Skopostheorie. As a special branch of general literature, children's literature has its own specific target readers and distinctive characteristics of literature. However the research on the translation of children's literature is still marginalized in the field of translation studies. It has not gained enough attention. The translation practice of children's literature lacks important academic studies to direct, which leads to the decline of its quality. By taking the sentences in Flipped as examples, analysis of Chinese version of Flipped from linguistic form, linguistic content, and linguistic style, which is based on the three basic rules. Through analyzing and studying the English novel Flipped and its Chinese version, the feasibility and validity of Skopostheories used to lead the translation of children of children literature.(Huang, 2013) Yang LiFan shows the practical experience of translating an American child literature Flipped (Chapter 5 and Chapter 6) from English to Chinese. It reviews the translation process by adopting the method of the introspection, making reference to other works and the combination of theory and practice. Yang found out corresponding translation strategies and methods, exploring ways to improve the translation quality of child literature and the ability of translators. Through researches on Flipped, Yang knows the young adult fiction better so as to improve translation ability. Some of us get dipped in flat ,some in satin, some in gloss. But every once in a while you find someone who is iridescent, and when you do, nothing will ever compare.(Yang, 2014) 2.3.2 Studies of Flipped from values perspective Xu WenJing shows American values which consist of individualistic values , family values, cultural values. Individualistic values are core of American values of individualism ,that is ,individual-based philosophy of life. Individualistic values were embodied in respecting self, safeguarding dignity. And family values were embodied in  concept of equality and respect for family .Cultural values ,to a large extent, it is for life solution and the understanding and the yearning and pursuit of life, is for life annotation. Juli and Chet show kindness and generosity. A tree, a boy, a girl, a wise old man, a mental retardation, two courtyards, all of above show American values perspective.(Xu, 2012) Fan (2014) said that feminist movement had wide influence. And Flipped showed that women sought self-actualization and realize personal value by the image of Juli. Juli was brave and rebellious character. Juli shined with the brilliant of the feminism. Feminism is the motivation of stimulating women’s independence, initiative, creativeness. In addition to Juli, Bryce’s sister also showed feminism. Bryce’s sister had rebellious spirit . She enjoyed talent of music which was Juli’s brothers, and regarded them as friends. When her father made fun of them, she had the quarrel with father. Females which were in the movie showed feminism.(Fan, 2014) 2.3.3 Studies of Flipped from symbolic significance The movie showed a story by subtle statement and internal monologue between a boy and a girl. In the movie, the sycamore was mention by many times. The beginning with the movie, it was luxuriantly green, later it was a picture and wood pile, finally, it was a young tree. It run through whole movie and was given symbolic significance. The symbolic significance of sycamore in Flipped made mention of symbolism. The sycamore symbolized the growth of children ,family love ,pure love. The experience of sycamore is also growth of girl and boy. When the sycamore was chopped down ,her father painted a tree for her. A painting tree symbolized father’s love. Bryce planted a sycamore for Juli in her courtyard and finally they planted together symbolized pure love.(Bai, 2014) Juli thought that sycamore was a gift which was given by God . A sycamore was the main line of movie. Firstly, the sycamore symbolized love, and the sycamore was cut down symbolized that Juli was disappointed with love, and Bryce planted a young sycamore in Juli’s yard .It indicated the love that was Juli and Bryce as young sycamore, and it must be grow. Then, the sycamore symbolized growth. Juli found out herself spiritual paradise by father’s enlightenment. After cutting down sycamore, eggs disturbances and uncle’s things, Juli came out from small world, and enjoyed life. This is growth.(Wang, 2015) 2.4 Summary Based on the detailed review, researches on love view abroad explore the essence of love and the types of love, causing of love. Researches on love view home was reflected by literary works .So it is obvious that love view is popular. Up to now , there is no research on Flipped abroad .Researches on Flipped home analyzes from language translation perspective, values perspective, symbolic significance etc. And there are some significant comments .However, there are few scholars who had devoted themselves to research on love view in the Flipped. This paper will further analyze view of love basing on Flipped. Chapter Three Analysis on love view of Juli and Bryce 3.1 Juli’s love view---braveness and perseverance 3.1.1 Braveness The first day Juli met Bryce, and she flipped. She was enthralled by dazzling eyes. She chased after him. Nothing would stop her. When she went to school, she rushed to embrace Bryce excitedly in order to help him to get over his shyness. When Bryce and Sherry broke up, Juli sniffed him. From above of all ,Juli had the courage to express her love . She was a brave girl for love. Juli climbed a sycamore tree for getting a kite and found beautiful landscape on the tree. Later, she refused to climb out of a sycamore tree. “Now either you came down, or we are going cut you down. Go ahead, cut me down, I am not coming down. Bryce… Bryce, please ” A girl climbed the sycamore like a boy and protected her love. She was admirable and brave. The sycamore tree symbolizes pure love. Juli invited Bryce to climb sycamore tree to see the landscape, but Bryce didn’t climb at all. This let her down, but she did not give up. Bryce’s grandfather said: “that girl has an iron backbone.” Iron backbone was a symbol of braveness. This was good evidence of her braveness for love. In reference to these, it can be observed that Juli was brave.  Juli has fearless spirit. it can show as follows: falling in love with first time is a fantastic thing, however, it is not easy. Juli fell in love with Bryce at first time, but it was not smooth. Juli  embraced Bryce at the first day of school to help Bryce to get over his shyness, but Bryce thought that was a disaster and school was sanctuary. In order to flee love of Juli, he pretended to date with Sherry. But Juli did not fear, and she believed in love. Juli was also brave enough to love and hate. When Juli infatuated with Bryce, she rushed to embrace Bryce. When Juli eavesdropped on the conversation of Bryce and Garrett, she told Bryce to hate him. Bryce, “Hi, you look nice.” Juli, “I heard you and Garrett making fun of my uncle in the library. And I don’t want to speak to you. Not now, not ever.”… Juli,“ Than that makes you are a coward.” From conversation between Juli and Bryce , It shows that Juli has the courage to hate a man who she loves. She dares to love and hate. Love means having respect for the dignity of the person she loves. She thought that “it felt so good to no longer care about Bryce.” It was good to give up than obsess , if she loved without dignity. In other hand, when Bryce dated with Sherry, Juli commented on Sherry jealously. For example, “Sherry was nothing but a whiny, gossipy, backstabbing flirt. All hair and no substance. … My Bryce, the one who was walking around with my first kiss. My solution was to ignore her. It took all of a week, they broke up.” There was no doubt that she was jealous. However, jealousy was a reflection that she sought to love bravely. Obviously, when Juli was in face of rival in love, she was brave and wise. To sum up, Juli had the courage to express her love and hated a man who she loved. She was an iron backbone and jealous of rival, but she was fully confident of her love. From many examples, it can be proved that she was brave for love with dignity. Love means having respect for the dignity of the person he loves. 3.1.2 Perseverance Gandhi had said, “Opportunities are not offered. They must be wrested and worked for. And this calls for perseverance and courage.” Whatever it is love or others, perseverance is important. Juli’s love view is perseverance and it can be proved as follows. Firstly, a little girl pursuits of love for several years. It sounds admirable. On one hand, Juli chased after Bryce from primary school to junior high school. Since she met Bryce, she fell in love with Bryce the first time. She firmly believed that Bryce who kissed her first time. Until she was six grades ,she had controlled herself. From her pursuit of love for several years, there was no doubt that Juli was persistent to love. On the other hand, as Juli said, Bryce and Sherry broke up , and Bryce started being nicer to Juli. Juli could not forget the way Bryce’s hair smelled like watermelon. She spent the whole year secretly sniffing watermelon and wandering if she was ever going to get to his kiss. This was a life-long and unfaltering devotion .From all kinds of Juli’s actions, it can see that Juli was persistent to love. Secondly, every morning Juli was on the tree in order to see beautiful landscapes. As Juli described,“ I could sit there for hours, just looking out at the world. Some days the sunsets would be purple and pink. And some days they were a blazing orange, setting fire to the clouds on the horizon. It was during one of those sunsets that my father's idea of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts moved from my head to my heart. Some days I would get there extra early to watch the sunrise.“ It was so amazing that she wanted to invited Bryce to enjoy together. Regrettably, Bryce refused her by all sorts of excuses. Later, she persisted in not coming down from tree for preventing cut the tree. Because it was not just a tree, and how enjoyable she felt when she was on the tree. It was more like love of girl than a tree. It was obviously that Juli was persistent to love although she was refused time after time . For love, she showed that she had a spirit of persistence. Finally, every morning, Juli always sent eggs to Bryce without return day after day. If Juli wanted something, which must happen to run into Bryce. Those lines can prove Juli persisted in love . “Thanks, Juli. See you at school.” And in return, I got a few moments alone. with the world's most dazzling eyes. Bryce，“Thanks, Juli. See you at school. Hey, Juli. Right on schedule.” Juli, “Yeah, well, neither rain nor sleet.” She sent eggs on schedule neither rain nor sleet just for dazzling eyes. This commendably reflected on persisting in love. But her persistence was not like that she expected, on the contrary, it broke her heart. She exactly saw that Bryce threw her eggs away, and knew about reasons which her back yard was mess. When the sycamore was cut down, Juli had cried for two weeks straight. Later, she was just starting to feel normal again. For Juli, it added salt to the wound. Hardly has one wave subsided when another rises. However, even so she did not give up, and she did better. It can be proved that Juli had a spirit of awesome persistence for love.  She worked on yard for weeks with Chet. Chet knew exactly what it meant about the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. He said it was the same with people but sometimes with people, the whole could be less. Juli learnt many knowledge from Chet and succeed in working on yard. If she was not persistent spirit, how could she do? After uncle’s scandal ,family dinner and basket boys ,all of things reflected Juli persisted in love. Love's course seldom runs smooth. At last, she waited Bryce’s kiss and they planted the tree of love together. She held his hands; they were to grow together with him. Because she loved, she persisted. Because she persisted, she was loved. 3.1.3 Internal and external causes The reasons which Juli’s love views formed mainly are internal causes and external causes. And internal causes are natural instincts, family and inequivalence of love. External cause is the feminist movement . Juli had temperaments of braveness and perseverance by birth. It is hard to change one’s natural instincts. First love is the beginning of the beautiful of human natural instincts. However, natural instincts were influenced by other factors. First of all, family factors are important for natural instincts. Juli was born in a poor family, so she must learn to be brave and persistent from childhood. Poor children became the masters of family as early as possible. On one hand, she learnt to kept chickens in the back yard. And she sent eggs to Bryce day after day without return. On the other hand, she spent money which she sold eggs on working on yard for weeks because her family was poor. But  Poverty is wealth, and poverty taught her a lot of things. Secondly, she was lucky because she was born in a happy family. She said,“ I was grateful that I had the family I had, and it felt good to no longer care about Bryce Loski.”Her father tried to love her. When the sycamore was cut down, Juli was sad for several days. It is father that knows his own child. Her father painted a picture of the sycamore for her. In addition, when she found that eggs which she sent eggs to Bryce was thrown away as garbage, the relationship of Bryce and Juli was stiffer. Sometimes, love is like water-control, and it is useful to dredge than block up. Her father told that looked a person by whole and parts. When she was kissed by Bryce and went back home, her mother told her that,“ Sweetheart ,maybe you should talk to him.”And with the help of Chet, she understood it. This made her think about love to Bryce again. So her family made her be brave and persistent for love. Thirdly, the reason why Juli’s love views formed was inequivalence of love. Love is seesaw battle. If one side releases and was indifferent, another side maybe misses and chases. Throughout all of the movie, Juli’s love for Bryce was far more than Bryce’s. Juli sent eggs to Bryce, but Bryce threw them away; she invited Bryce to enjoy the scenery, but Bryce  refused. He made fun of her at uncle’s expense. After the sycamore being cut down, she knew about the love to Bryce and who she was. As to the inequivalence of love, she had cultivated the spirits of braveness and perseverance for love. Finally, the reason why Juli’s love views formed was external cause which was the feminist movement. The film was set in 1960s. In 1960s, feminist movement was the most influential social movement in American history, it had an effect on individuals and all aspects of public life. Women had a knowledge of the changes in economy, politics, higher education, marriage, family and the laws of the state after the feminist movement, to reflect the independent consciousness of women who want to have an equal status in their families and in society. And the writer Wendelin Van Draanen who wrote the Flipped was born in 1965. She was influenced by feminist. In addition to Flipped, she wrote another novels to praise women, such as Sammy Keyes series . Juli was representative of women's rights. She loved Bryce bravely but she did not lose dignity. She was economic independence by keeping chickens and dared to love and hate. All of above, they were linked with feminist movement. 3.2 Bryce’s love---timorousness and braveness 3.2.1 Timorousness It is obvious to people that Bryce is timid about love. The beginning of movie, Bryce stated clearly that all ever I wanted was for Juli Baker to leave me alone. For Bryce, it was the beginning of what would be more than half a decade of strategic avoidance and social discomfort. He thought that his first year was a disaster and next three years were not better. So he thought about a way that he dated with Sherry. Because Juli hated Sherry, he thought the way was brilliant. But false love did not stand up to the test of time. Shortly afterwards, They broke up. This is a performance of fleeing love. Fleeing love is timid about love. On the other hand, it's not hard to see that he was timid about love. From his manner of speaking,“ Word got back to Juli, and pretty soon she started up with the goo-goo eyes again. Only this time it was worse. She started sniffing me. That’s right, sniffing me.” The word “goo-goo eyes” expressed he was averse to love. And he emphasized the “sniffing” twice, it showed that he was greatly afraid of love. Later, he pinned his hopes on junior high school, “Maybe we would be in different classes and it would finally, finally be over.” As above, he was not willing to accept love by repeating “finally”. But he was afraid of taking the words out of his mouth .From above all, it was proved that he was timid of love. Except fleeing love, he was timid about love showed that he was obedient to others. His father grumbled about Juli’s yard ,and said, “Landscapes? Let me tell you something. The world would have more beauty in it if he’d do a little landscaping on that piece of crap he calls a yard. I feel bad for his wife. She married a dreamer. Because of that, one of the two of them will always be unhappy.” Bryce agreed with his father in silent. So he was disgusted with Juli’s yard and eggs. When Bryce’s family discussed whether there were roosters in Juli’s yard, Bryce was afraid to talk Juli. And he was obedient to his father to give eggs back and regarded eggs as rubbishes to throw away. He can not face her causing more misunderstanding. It shows that Bryce was timid about love. After the sycamore tree thing and eggs thing, Bryce took a shine to Juli, but he did not dare to admit. “I found myself staring at her in class. And the way her hair fell back over her shoulders.She looked just like the picture in the newspaper.” Danna caught him watching, and Bryce pretended to say “ there is a bee in her hair.” He loved Juli but he did not dare to express. On the other hand, in the library, he agreed with Garrett although he did not think that. From many examples, they reflected that Bryce was timid about love. There was no doubt that it was love in his heart, but he did not speak out. Although he spoke out, he was afraid of love. 3.2.2 Braveness Cervantes said, “True braveness is between monumental cowardice and impertinence.” In the process of fearing of love, he leant to be brave. When his grandfather Chet asked him to read the newspaper without prejudice, he thought that, “I told myself I should be glad about it. I mean, isn’t that what I’d always wanted? But still, I felt bad for her. I was gone tell her I was sorry.” It indicated that he wanted to apologize for sycamore thing. He was brave for love from heart. In addition, his father asked him to give eggs back to Juli, he didn't feel right to lie. He gradually had his own view. When he threw away eggs ,he thought “Was I really afraid of hurting her feelings? After Chet enlightenment, he was sorry to Juli for eggs. Later, he stared at Juli and read newspaper which reported of Juli. In the library, although he agreed with Garrett, he explained that” It's not her fault. Her dad's got a retarded brother and all their money goes to helping him. “And in the dinner, he apologized to Juli. So in the process of fearing of love ,he leant to be brave. It was easy to see that Bryce was brave after basket boy auction. Being brave is when you have to do something because you know it is right, but at the same time, you are afraid to do it, because it might hurt. But you do it anyway. When Bryce was absent-minded with Sherry. The power of love inspired him to want to kiss Juli. And he broke off all relations with Garrett. He was flipped to Juli. He knock at Juli’s door and called her phone for seeing her. With the help with Juli’s father, he planted a young sycamore in Juli’s yard. Finally, Juli walked out of the door and planted with Bryce. It was perfect ending as Bryce was brave for love. 3.2.3 Internal and external causes The reasons which Bryce’s love views formed mainly can sum up internal causes and external causes. And internal causes are natural characters, family. External cause is the social environment. The reason why Bryce was timid of love was his natural characters. Bryce was so shy that he was always afraid of love and fleeing love. When he met Juli first time and held her hand and looked right into her eyes, he was embarrassed, and his cheeks turned completely red. And Juli had said many times that he was so shy. For one thing, it was because of that he was shy that he loved Juli but he did not dare to express. For another, it was because of that he was timid. He was afraid to talk with Juli, and he was dishonesty, and love not bear lie, so that caused problems such as eggs problems. Of course, his timid character was influenced by family. Bryce was born in a prosperous family, so he has carefree life. This made him not independent and mature. Bryce’s family was autocratic. From his father, it can be proved. First, his performance is not friendly in whole film. Secondly, he was a fuse for eggs problems. He asked Bryce to give back eggs to Juli. Finally, he gave Bryce a false value. He laughed at Juli’s yard and satirize that Juli’s father was a dreamer. So Bryce’s father was  grim, selfish, arrogant ,bullying and cowardly. All above, it made Bryce timid for love. Luckily, Bryce had a kindhearted grandfather Chet. Chet has profoundly affected Bryce’s love view, especially braveness. He asked Bryce read paper without prejudice, and it made Bryce know about Juli. Chet gave Bryce more encourage in eggs problems. He said, ”I'm proud of you, Bryce. You overcame your fear. When he knew that Bryce threw away eggs, he told Bryce that “one's character is set at an early age. I'd hate to see you swim out so far you can't swim back. Sometimes a little discomfort in the beginning can save a whole lot of pain down the road.” His words made Bryce have the encourage to admit his mistake. On the other hand, Bryce was influenced by Juli’s love. After hurting Juli, he felt guilty. When he was in basket boy auction , he was eager for being bid by Juli. Later, he wanted to kiss her. Because he fell in love with Juli, he became more brave for love. External cause is the social environment. American industrial capital brought about high material standards in 1960s. At the same time, people were out of nature and abandoned the humanistic spirit and lost soul. They were indifferent to arts , beauty and love. Bryce’s father was a good example. As Juli said, “Mr.Loski was clean and smooth on the outside, but it seemed like there was something rotten, buried just beneath the surface.” And Bryce lived in such an environment, he did not know about what love was, what beauty was, what truth was. So he was timid of love. However, with the development of industrial capital, it enhanced the economic status of women. Thus changed the ideal of men to women. And it made women more brilliant. Bryce was indifferent to Juli at the beginning of movie, as to Juli was more and more brilliant, and made Bryce missed her. “Some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin, some in gloss. But every once in a while you find someone who's iridescent, and when you do, nothing will ever compare.” Although he was timid of love, gradually, he learnt to be brave for love and the power of love made him braver. Chapter Four Conclusion Based on the detailed review, researches on love view abroad explore the essence of love and the types of love, causing of love. Researches on love view home was reflected by literary works .So it is obvious that love view is popular. Up to now , there is no research on Flipped abroad .Researches on Flipped home analyzes from language translation perspective, values perspective, symbolic significance etc. However, there are few scholars who had devoted themselves to research on love view in the Flipped. This paper will further analyze view of love basing on Flipped. Love is an eternal theme in almost movies. When we talk about life, there is always love accompanied. So it is a very important topic for us to have a profound discuss. In this paper, the author has analyzed two kinds of love views. Juli’s love view was braveness and perseverance and Bryce’s love was timorousness and braveness.  It can be seen that the love of Juli had the courage to express, but it was good to give up than obsess , if Juli loved without dignity. Juli had a spirit of persistence, but it felt good to no longer care about a person who did not love you. Bryce is timid about love , but he learnt to be brave. To the first love of children, it needs to be enlightened by wise person. Parents who love each other more than rich , and the social environment is important. In a word, no matter who you are young or old, it is not easy to be love and it is to be cherished. Due to the author’s inadequate knowledge and the limitations of comprehensive capability, this thesis is not perfect and there are some immature and inappropriate discussions in this thesis. Besides, the depth and comprehension of the thesis is somewhat superficial. The author sincerely hopes that there are more and more discussions and understandings can be introduced.
