两条腿走路 两条腿走路,才能走得稳而远 义务教育阶段的英语课程具有工具性和人文性双重性质。这工具性和人文性就好比人的两条腿,只有这两条腿很好地配合,人才能走得既稳又远。同样,在教学实践中,我们教师也要把工具性和人文性很好地统一起来,才能达到优化学生素质和提高学生外语水平的双重目的。 在初三上册Unit3 What were you doing when the UFO arrived?的教案中,我注重了工具性与人文性的有效统一。 (一)在教学目标中,我设立了知识目标、能力目标、情感目标。 知识目标和能力目标主要体现了英语课程的工具性,即教学过程中新旧英语语言知识的学习及复习以及提高学生听说读写四方面的能力,本课知识主要是谈论过去发生的事情、讲以及过去进行时态和when\while用法的掌握; 而本课的情感目标:1、通过了解与学习有关UFO的知识,从而培养自身热爱科学,勇于探索的精神。2、通过本单元的学习,结合2012年英国伦敦奥运会,让学生在谈论过去的事情中获取成就。情感目标体现着英语课程的人文性,从而在教学目标中就注重了二者之间的关系。 (二)在教学过程中分为三个大板块Module 1热身(Warm-up),Module 2中心任务活动(Main tasks),Module 3 Consolidation and Extension巩固拓展。 在课堂引入部分由现在进行时态引出过去进行时态的概念及其构成,其次通过看图对话的形式使用过去进行时,从而让学生掌握其用法。在练习中大量多媒体的使用及各种活动的开展为学生提供了兴趣与动力,使学生在情感和行动上积极参与课堂教育教学的活动。 在学习when\while的用法时,把学生分为若干小组,一个学生问奥运会开幕式开始的时候他或她在干什么,再由其他学生使用when、while说出自己在同一时间里所做的事,进行小组口语训练活动。 最后评出最佳小记者,并把自己所采访的内容以新闻报道的形式展示给同学。从而训练了自己读,写的能力,也训练了其他同学听的能力。并且在报道完后,根据内容提问,也训练了学生听,说的能力。 学生之间积极合作,培养了他们的合作意识。在活动中融入了德育目标,实现了工 具性与人文性的有效结合。 在以后的教学中我会一如既往地把工具性---英语素养---知识与能力(基础知识、基 本技能)与人文性---精神素养---情感态度与价值观有机地结合起来,让学生把学习英语 当成一种乐趣。 附教案: Model 1: Warm-up.
